Introducing Advocacy Spring Intern: Andrea Seet

The NACHC Advocacy team is thrilled to introduce our Spring Intern, Andrea Seet!

Andrea is excited to have the opportunity to intern for NACHC for her spring semester of college. She is a third year at the University of California, Berkeley with a major in Public Health and minors in Education and Science and Math Education. She is excited to make the most of her experience at NACHC to learn about advocating for community health centers and how she can make a positive impact on the health of underserved communities in her future.

At UC Berkeley, Andrea has been a Cal Undergraduate Public Health Coalition Community Health committee member, a group that focuses on providing resources for the Berkeley community to improve their access to learning healthy practices for themselves and their families. She has also participated on a medical brigade in Lima, Peru, where she observed doctors, dentists, and gynecologists in addition to teaching children oral hygiene practices. Andrea is also a member of the Phi Chi pre-health fraternity and serves as the secretary for Circle K International, an organization focused on community service and professional development.

In her spare time, Andrea enjoys traveling with her family and photographing the places she travels to.
