Meet Kritica, the newest member of the NACHC Grassroots Advocacy Team!
Kritica is an MPH candidate, with a focus on Community-Oriented Primary Care, at Milken Institute of Public Health. She looks forward to learning more about health policy and how to empower clinicians, staff members, patients and community members to take part in advocacy efforts.
Prior to attending graduate school, she served as a Community Health Fellow at LifeLong Medical Care in East Oakland, CA. During this experience, Kritica fell in love with community health and learned the power of advocacy. Her service at LifeLong inspired her to obtain an MPH prior to attending medical school. One day she hopes to be a community primary care physician who continues to work toward eliminating health disparities.
In her free time, Kritica enjoys exploring the east coast (as she is a California native), hiking and finding local coffee shops. So if you know any hidden coffee shops, be sure to let her know!
She is very excited to learn more about how she can advocate for her future patients through policy efforts. If you’d like to contact Kritica, don’t hesitate to reach her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
