Madeleine is a rising senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a major in Environmental Health Sciences and minors in Chemistry and Neuroscience. She looks forward to gaining experience in the fields of public health and health policy, and is ready to help advocate for underserved communities nationwide during her time at NACHC.

Prior to beginning her internship at NACHC, Madeleine spent the last four months studying and conducting qualitative research in Geneva, Switzerland. At home, Madeleine volunteers at the Emergency Department at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and is an active member of Buckley Public Service Scholars at UNC, a program recognizing students who have dedicated a significant amount of time for community service and engagement throughout their undergraduate education. In her free time, Madeleine enjoys painting, photography, and exercise.

She is thrilled to join the advocacy team at NACHC and for the summer ahead in DC!
