31 Jan Meet Erica Harp, Spring 2019 Advocacy Intern
Meet Erica, the newest member of the NACHC advocacy team!
Erica is a current sophomore at George Mason University with a major in Global and Community Health and a minor in Spanish. She looks forward to becoming involved in NACHC’s policy advocacy efforts and learning how the organization supports CHCs across the country.
Outside of NACHC, as the Healthcare Policy Director of the Roosevelt Institute @ Mason, a student-led policy think-tank, Erica is able to bring her passion for health policy into action through policy research, writing, and issue advocacy efforts. As a freshman, she led a policy initiative to increase access to menstrual hygiene products on campus.
Erica ultimately hopes to become a nurse practitioner so she can work in a clinical setting while advocating for equitable health policy. She is so excited to be a member of NACHC’s advocacy team and looks forward to the rest of the semester here!
In her free time, Erica enjoys finding new books to read, painting, and exploring the city.
Erica can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
