Michael joined NACHC in November 2023 having worked for electoral, consulting, tech and advocacy organizations for over eight years. He has advised various organizations including health care associations about best practices to deepen their commitment to grassroots capacity-building. During his time with Enroll America, Michael worked in conjunction with state health insurance marketplaces and partners including FQHCs and rural health clinics to facilitate in-person appointments for consumer seeking health coverage under the ACA. In addition to leading advocacy efforts, his experience includes data-driven strategy, management, and marketing.
Michael was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and environmental studies from Florida State University. He has lived in Washington, DC for six years. He is an avid music listener, enjoys cooking food from diverse cuisines, and loves travelling to national parks or just exploring Rock Creek Park with the company of his athletic corgi puppy.
